“Untamed” is a short film following Alyssa, a young Black woman, who finds herself in a hair crisis with only hours before meeting her White boyfriend's parents for the first time. Alyssa finds herself in a panic as she struggles to tame her natural hair, which she feels is a vital component of her identity.
